About the Event

Teq's iblocks are PBL activities that engage students in critical thinking and teamwork in a fun way. They are often used to supplement existing curriculum or to kick off a STEM initiative. Join us to learn how to help students think outside the box with Rube Goldberg Machines (RGM). This event offers a unique opportunity to explore how Teq's iblocks PBL can transform your classrooms and enhance student learning. The RGM iblock challenges students to problem solve and discover the unexpected kinetic properties in every day objects as they design their own Rube Goldberg Machines. Students research and explore simple machines and chain reactions and how they relate to the world around them. From ideation to interaction, students engage in creative thinking, critical reasoning, and teamwork as they engineer these truly unique machines.

Any teacher interested in STEAM, PBL, and learning new ways to engage students is welcome to attend.
